At Pixolai, your privacy is a core design principle — not an afterthought. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Data We Do NOT Collect

All Pixolai tools run entirely in your browser. This means:

  • The JSON you format is never sent to our servers.
  • The text you encode or decode in Base64 is never transmitted.
  • The timestamps you convert are processed locally on your device.
  • We do not require an account, login, or email address to use any tool.

2. Information We May Collect

When you visit Pixolai, we may collect limited, anonymised analytics data through a privacy-respecting analytics provider. This may include:

  • The page visited and approximate time of visit
  • Your general geographic region (country level only)
  • The device type and browser you are using
  • The referring URL (how you found us)

This data contains no personally identifiable information (PII) and is used solely to understand which tools are most useful so we can improve the site.

3. Contact Form

If you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message. This information is used only to respond to your inquiry and is not shared with third parties. We store it for up to 12 months and then delete it.

4. Cookies

Pixolai uses one local storage key (pixolai-theme) to remember your dark/light mode preference. This is stored on your device and never transmitted to our servers. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

If you use Google AdSense on this site, Google may set cookies as described in Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out via Google's Ad Settings.

5. Third-Party Services

Pixolai may use the following third-party services:

  • Google Fonts — for typography. Google may log your IP address when loading fonts.
  • Google Analytics (if enabled) — for anonymous usage statistics. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Google AdSense (if enabled) — for advertising. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Children's Privacy

Pixolai is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@pixolai.com.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Pixolai after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
